The AI starts off a bit stupid at the beginning, as reviews stated, but as you get further in they quickly become VERY agressive. I get the feeling some of the reviews I read didn't play past the first chapter. The sheer number of boss fights in this game is also insane.
The voice acting a bit cheesy, in the sort of mediocre anime dubbing kind of way, but the story is fairly interesting so far. Kind of like a cross between Rurouni Kenshin and Ninja Scroll, with some really bizarre ideas of it's own thrown in. The environments can vary drastically, sometimes being very pretty, and other times being downright ugly, however they all have a certain strange atmosphere about them that fits the game perfectly.
So far, in the first 2 and 1/2 hours I've played, I've already fought 10 bosses. Yeah, you heard me right... TEN bosses. Pretty crazy, huh? In total, from what I've read, there's at least 48 bosses you have to fight in the entire game in order to claim your body parts, some have multiple boss fights and forms, and others are simply side bosses completely unrelated to this, so the actual number goes up in the 60-ish range. Lol
I wonder if there's ANY other game out there that rivals this game in the sheer number of bosses.
